Early going news on QIPCO British Champions Day

The Going at Ascot on QIPCO British Champions Day is Good to Soft, Good in places.
Chris Stickels, Clerk of the Course and Head of Racing at Ascot Racecourse, said:
“We’ve had a dry night up to 6.30am this morning and less than 1mm of rain recorded in the past seven days, so it’s been a relatively dry build up to QIPCO British Champions Day although heavy morning dews have kept much of the moisture in the ground this week. We’re expecting a light shower first thing this morning and the occasional shower is possible through the today.”
As per the race conditions and the QIPCO British Champions Day track plan, all races on the Round Course will be run on the default Outer Flat Course which is used throughout the rest of the season.
